Please do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here. After being a loyal Hyatt member for several years, this hotel made me question if I ever wanted to trust Hyatt again. 1. The rooms smell absolutely awful, like mold and mildew. 2. Stains on the couch, bed, and duvet insert. Disgusting. 3. ONE functional elevator for a 14 story hotel. We’d have to wait 10+ mins for the elevator at times. We started using the service elevator which was sketchy. 4. Inconsiderate guests next to us blasting R&B music at 4AM. dated. dirty. pool is disgusting. hot tub doesn’t work. elevators were all broken entire hotel had to use the service elevator. not a 3 star hotel. just an embarrassment for the entire hyatt brand. worst hospitality experience we’ve had in YEARS.
Worst hotel I have stayed at. Very dirty everywhere. Lobby is the nicest part of it.
We recently just stayed here for Cigar Week for St. Louis from 07/24 - 07/26. Usually with any issues I’ll contact the hotel and it will be fixed immediately, well not this case. We stayed in room 910 (whatever you do, don’t stay there). Upon arrival I asked the front desk receptionist is it possible for a room on the 2nd floor, before I could even fully continue she immediately told me they were booked and no room accommodations are available. For starters, only one elevator works. So you have to wait 10 minutes for one elevator only to find that there are about 15 other people in it. The rooms are mediocre at best. The bathroom is stained and rusted. The shower pressure is not great. You can see where the painters got lazy. All this money that we are paying, and we get this mediocre experience. The only good thing I can say is the AC works great. Better than my own house. Either lower the prices, or improve the quality.
