What a great experience! Sound strange as a description of surgery? Well, it was...neither of the two incisions ever hurt, the information given to me pre- and post-op was both detailed and understandable, and all went smoothly with the removal of stitches, etc. I'd consent to doing it all over again, but doubt that I will have to. Doctor Hyams and his staff are skilled professionals.
Dr. Hyams removed several non-cancerous tumors from my breasts as well as my implants (one of which was ruptured and leaking silicone). He explained every step of the complex procedure with care and patience. On top of being an excellent oncology surgeon, Dr. Hyams took into account the cosmetic side of this surgery and it was all still covered under my insurance. I am grateful to him for his attention to detail to all aspects of this surgery.
Dr. Hyams provided expert care for my wife. He surgically removed a skin cancer tumor that required significant skill. That alone was great, but he also came in early on the morning he was ready to take a flight to attend to the dressing that had been compromised by a home health care nurse. His help in fixing the issue, on a morning when he was readying for travel, was exemplary.
Dr. Hyams is the best of the best. His expertise and knowledge shows through his efficiency. He is highly accomplished and takes his time to be thorough in his work. I am so pleased and greatful with my experience. Karina and the team are wonderful as well. Thank you Dr. Hyams!
Grateful for this Doc..takes the time to explain and follow up with research based info..would highly recommend this Oncology Surgeon.
