Extremely pleasant and helpful employees, and oh so clean, probably the cleanest in Springfield. That's pretty important to me. The prices aren't cheap, but there isn't a store where they are.
Please know that this rating in no way is reflective of the Hy-Vee grocery store which I would rate very high. I would have rated the pharmacy lower if I could have. The Hy-Vee Pharmacy filled my prescription yesterday. When I arrived to pick it up, the pharmacy tech suggested I run it through my insurance as the cost was over $100. I did not have my insurance card with me so I confirmed that it was ok to call in the insurance information. EXCELLENT SERVICE ALWAYS. ALWAYS SOMEBODY THERE TO HELP
I live out of state, some of my family live in Eldora. Each time I have visited, the personnel at the store were very helpful, very attentive to needs and (something you don't see hardly anymore), "friendly." Coming from Alabama, I'm used to people helping others as a "normal" thing. At the HyVee in Eldora, I'm very comfortable doing business with them when I'm visiting. Their cafeteria servers as well are outstanding and well, down home, sort of people.
Decided to go to this Hy-Vee on 151st to grab something to eat from deli and sushi place. Mind you we have spent lots of money at this location being close to home. This time our bill for dinner was $20+ ,but as we were leaving minding our own business some manager guy in the parking lot was like "keep it moving" along with some other words, didn't catch everything said as we just wanted to get home. Dave took great care of us. He made sure our drinks were kept full and the food was delivered quickly. Thank you Dave for your great service.
My only knock on this place is that their vegetables & fruits are usually picked over but this place is the greatest shopping experience you will have in the industry. The Market Grille is a personal favorite of mine!
