I have to leave a review because the experience was truly exceptional. My husband called Hy-Vee to order flowers and told the wonderful woman who answered the phone that she had full creative freedom to design a spring bouquet. What she created absolutely blew us away. I live in TN & was given Hy-vee floral as a recommendation to order flowers from for a friend. I called & was greeted very professionally by Wendee. She helped me in the decision making process & was very helpful. I highly recommend Hy-vee floral.
Let's just say it's obvious they have a monopoly. Was in looking for an arrangement as a gift, while the customer service rep(5 stars for her) was quite pleasant and helpful she needed to refer me to the florist for help with an arrangement. I have never felt so belittled while trying to patronize a business. In short, the "florist" was indifferent and rather snarky to my plight. Beautiful arrangement and same day delivery!
I have edited my rating by adding a star. I have them three stars before, for all of the reasons that other customers have stated - plus based on my own experience in trying to get flowers delivered. If you have your business on a " Same day delivery" site, then you should honor that description by, you know, delivering orders the same day. However...I was in HyVee the other night, and took a good look at the flowers and plants they had on display, and they are the absolute best taken care of plants I have seen in any store ... read more
