Little pricey but very FAMILY FRIENDLY I LOVE WHEN YOU WALK IN THE STORE& MOST OF EMPLOYEES KNOW YOU BY NAME
Once again, got a piss-poor portion of chicken breasts. Purchased them 2 hours ago, cooked them up to the proper temp, and half of one breast was discarded as waste. Threw the other two out as a precaution. If you want decent meat/poultry/fish, shop at Fareway. Hy Vee is obviously too bothered with having a Starbucks and running a half-assed restaurant to bother with quality control at the meat counter.
Come in there at least once every summer. Good service, good food...
Enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner. Great food, great service, great price! And we picked up a few groceries before heading home. Very convenient.
Very pleased with the store but disgusted every time I go to the check out and see the obscene lies on the cover of the filthy National Enquirer. This garbage should be in a brown wrapper or simply removed from circulation. It was one thing when it was the absurdity of "Bat Boy" or bad enough with awful photos of washed up actresses. But now it is right wing poison propaganda. The Enquirer and Observer abuse your patrons in the checkout line.
The Hyvee on Locust has always been a welcoming place. They have a Caroline's cart which makes my shopping experience easier. When we eat at the Market Grille, the servers are always accommodating and sweet to my son who can be loud sometimes. I'm happy to have such an inclusive place to shop and eat.

Officially in love with HyVee!!!! Stopped at this one in Dubuque, IA during a long car ride with a baby and a 4-year old. We decided to eat there and needed a few grocery items. In the restaurant, we had the best waitress ever! She took our boisterous 4-year old by the waitress station and showed him her stock of stickers and said she would give him one when he was being good.
