Their specials are very comparable and of good value. Comparing some items to Fareway the prices are high. Too often the various departments move items around making them hard to find.
Love the 1st Ave Hyvee. But.... I picked up 5 dozen unfrosted cut-out cookies last night. There were 15 stars and the rest were snowmen.... had I been told that the selection for Christmas cookies were so limited I would never have gotten them! I should have looked in the Box before I even took them but I figured since I said I wanted Christmas shapes I would been given a few more designs. Extremely disappointed in this as it's the first time I ever broke down and bought cookies instead of making them. Lesson learned and few... read more
its a very good store to shop in. it has what you want. plus you can get your meds there also
