The grocery store is great however, I will no longer visit the Wine and Spirits side. My Asian friend has multiple times returned saying how disrespectful the cashier "Karen" was to her. Once, while looking directly at her, kept stocking as she stood at the counter. I've checked out with her many times with her being mostly friendly, with a hello and how are you and dismissed it as, "maybe she just had a bad day". I live in Illinois & have relatives in Boone Ia. Hy-Vee has always been great in helping me with special occasions whether it is flowers or food. Great employees!
