Firing a long time employee because of his facial hair( which he’s had the entire time) is terrible management. Really shows Hyvee does not care about their employees. Respect should be a two way street but it seems Hy-vee employees put their all into the company and get nothing back.
I don't personally know the employee let go because of his mustache but this is ridiculous. It appears the new manager is trying to flex muscles and say "my way or the highway" with rules that aren't even corporate wide and the employee was hired before she (new store mgr) came to this store. This isn't how others have who've come before became a welcome member of this community. I hope corporate is aware of this!!
Change your newly implemented policies regarding facial hair, or lose another customer.
I have always had excellent service at the Pharmacy in the Boone HyVee. Professional service from all the staff members there! I have complete trust in their handling of my personal information.
