RecommendedI got the Wagyu New York Strips recently and they were some of the tastiest steaks I've ever bought. All you really need is some salt and pepper and the meat will do the rest. The whole meat department really helped me out with picking them out. I'm real tempted to get some more from there.

I appreciate all that Hyvee and their employees do. Even when the country is not in a pandemic, the employees are always nice at Council Bluffs, Madison Avenue. I would not want to be doing their job right now…and I appreciate that they are willing to continue doing it. God bless them.

The employees at this store have gone above and beyond during this current coronavirus crisis. people are saying the medical community is the frontline heroes during this crisis and rightfully so. But as a former EMT, we're trained for this. Grocery store employees are not. A good percentage of this particular Hy-Vee's employees are people who are either just out of high school, or, they are missing their graduation this year. I’ve been in this Hy-Vee twice since the Covid-19 epidemic started to get crazy. I see how hard everyone is working there with nonstop stocking, assisting customers to checking people out. Purchased a roast. Very deceiving. The bottom of the roast which is hidden in the packaging had a 1/2 an inch of fat across the whole bottom. I won't purchase another roast from Hy Vee.
I came into the store to buy one of these bags and I asked 3 different employees including a front end manager and no one knew what I was talking about. Not very knowledgeable about promotional things going on in the store.
Second time now ordering online and bags are brought out to my car ripped. Hard to carry groceries in when bags start out ripped. Also the sacks are overloaded to the max. See attached pictures. Maybe lighten the loads and wouldn’t have to double bag and continually rip sacks. Over paying for groceries is one thing but at least the sacks are not overloaded and ripped at Walmart.
