We generally love the Pella location - the staff is friendly and helpful whenever my husband stops by after work. I will say that they need to work on checking the sell by dates of yogurts in the dairy section. We’ve recently had instances where we’ve been sold dairy items past their “best by” date (at full price). My husband does his best to check but doesn’t always remember after a long shift and I feel it’s something we should be able to go in and buy with confidence that it’s still good.

The overnight cashier at your store is absolutely the rudest person. Every time I come, he leaves as soon as he sees me coming. I have to chase him down every time. Is this because I’m a woman? I noticed he has no problems walking up and checking out the make customers. If he has a problem with women, please pull him off the register and have some one who is nice and does their job, doesn’t need to be chased after and isn’t rude. Having worked in customer service for many years I have been very disappointed with service I have received from many companies including Hy-Vee. Yesterday I went into Pella Hy-Vee with a problem and received amazing customer service! Erika took on my issue and didn't stop till she knew my issue was resolved! Kudos to you Erika! I will go to Pella Hy-Vee before I go back to Knoxville. The people in Pella are friendly and will help you out. Knoxville should learn from Pella. Keep up the good job Pella.
