I came to get groceries. Something that is not fun these days thanks to Covid. I go in to disinfect my cart and notice it is window cleaner. Not disinfectant. So i confronted the manager who said they were out of disinfectant. So i said, you have it on the shelf for sale. Why give false security and potentially spread the virus? His response... They encourage sick employees to come to work and treat you like garbage when you don't. They think requiring doctor's notes for any illness is a way to prove you're sick, even though most illness don't require you to see a doctor.
The Hy-Vee pharmacy is running a scam. They decided that they would only fill a prescription weekly instead of monthly. That way they get you into the store 4 times as often. Then they lied about it being due to federal regulations. Don't fall for this scam. I have switched to a pharmacy that is happy to fill the prescription monthly for convenience. My new pharmacy also has better pricing.

Expired food. Lot’s of it. This store needs to step up and get all the expired food off the shelf. I’m done shopping at this location.
I have always loved Hy-Vee however the last 4 times I have gone to this Hy-Vee I have been disappointed. The service is bad, they don’t pay attention when bagging groceries and the last 2 times I have had to bag them myself. Today wasn’t any better and when they have employees standing around it makes it even worse. I will have to change the Hy-Vee I use or go to Walmart where I know I will have to bag my own stuff.
Friendly people and helpful staff
My husband went to the meat department just now to order some steaks to cook for supper. He witnessed the the employee bagging up garbage, moved it to another garbage and bag that up, and then put gloves on to get the steaks my husband wanted. HE DIDNT BOTHER TO WASH HIS HANDS!!! That's disgusting and how illnesses get spread!!
