Scheduled appointment due to persistent cough. Office called back saying Dr(?) Vu will not see patients in office if they have a cough. Only video, wonder how he would listen to my lungs? Got bad enough to go to ER, where I was admitted and tested for a week. Early emphysema and a 4 cm spot on lung, biopsied and awaiting results. Dr. Vu is exceptional. I have been his patient for many years and have found him to be extremely knowledgable, spends plenty of time with me each visit, thoroughly explains conditions and options, has no problem with referrals to specialists and has a great staff - especially Caroline. Dr. Vu is very kind and truly cares about his patients. Recently, he came to visit me in Dr. Phillips Hospital after his long day in the office. I have highly recommended him to my friends and they all are very pleased as well.
I am probably one of Dr. Vu's first patients signing up with him after Prucare closed in the early 1990s or maybe the late 1980s. Dr. Vu is a great doctor who listens to your medical issues, authorizes tests to confirm an issue, and spends a good deal of time discussing test results and any follow-up treatments / plans going forward. Went to Dr. Vu for years, then decided to find a doctor I actually liked and felt comfortable with.
He does not keep up with the updated standards of care put out by the AAFP. Would recommend another doctor.
Dr. Vu is one of the best doctors I have ever been to he's very kind and understanding very professional and knows exactly what you need according to your diagnosis and symptoms. His nursing staff is very good as well Caroline is always very nice and always caring and listens to everything that you need to say. I have been going to Dr. Vu for over 12 years and I have never ever wanted to change or go anywhere else because I don't think I would get the same care with any other doctor.
