Over five years Dr. Baksh prescribed a number of tests when there were no symptoms indicating the need for such tests. This was a pattern that I found disturbing even if the tests were covered by Medicare. She always told me that she was in a rush which didn’t seem professional or make me feel comfortable.
This place is beyond incompetent.
Neglect of severe symptoms, such as the loss of 20lb in 1 week, anemia, total loss of appetite. The patient was told that these symptoms were related to a urinary tract infection (UTI), based on a mildly abnormal urine test. By the way, no antibiotics for the UTI were prescribed, and the discharge recommendations were increase water intake, and visit hospital for further eval (the latter requested by the family's patient). If left untreated, the patient would now be dead.
