Hired Hurst to reroof my home in May 2012. He did not get the building permit before doing the work. The installation did not follow either the shingle nor ridge vent installation instructions. The starts were wrong, shingle exposures were wrong, nailing locations were wrong, valley treatments were wrong, vent opening was oversized, did not overlap decking as required by manufacturer, etc. The installation does not meet building code. Road Rage Idiot Down on Main Street today 4/08/2015. Saw a driver road rage and almost cause an accident. The Male driver of a black Chevy pickup with Hurst roofing signs slammed on his brakes and tried to get the driver behind him to rear end him. then he continued to flip him off and motioned for him to pull over like he wanted to fight. Verydisappointing We are currently living away from Colorado but still own a home there. We called Hurst roofing to do some repair work. The person we talked to told us he would get back to us within a few days with an estimated cost of repairs. After nearly two weeks, we had still heard nothing. We phoned back and left a message and got no reply. It has now been over a month and we still have heard nothing. We called another roofing company and the work has already been completed by them.
