Yuck Hurseys Bar B Q is a bit of a staple in the Burlington area. Most folks from the area will throw Hurseys into a bar-b-que argument in a heartbeat, but I must say it is by far the worst bar-b-que I have ever had. With an uncomforatable dining area, I would at least expect the bar-b-que to live up to its hype. Don't believe the hype. best service, food, everything! hursey's barbque has to be the BEST barbque i have ever tasted. coming from a family of barbque connoiseurs, i know what i'm talking about. the barbque is more eastern-style, and there is hardly any sauce added while it is cooked. the sauce is right on the table for you to add to taste, which i enjoyed because i prefer very light sauce on my barbque. i got exactly how much i wanted, and by the way, the sauce is amazing, and available for purchase by the bottle (we bought three). was that bbq or cat food. we are orginally from shelby nc and have been in the area for 1 year.we have heard how great hurseys is so we finally tried it.we were greatly disappointed.the barbecue was almost liquified as if blended.it was really mushy,looked liked what we feed our cat.so we decided to feed it to the cat since we didnt eat it.well,the cat didnt even eat it.we always ate at alston bridges in shelby,and that is really good barbecue.we thought it would at least be equivelant to it.wrong.worst barbeque ever.i heard... read more
