Modern Moose Studios is hands down a cut above the rest. Steve, the Owner, is an INCREDIBLE Artist and can make any idea come to life! He is in a Masters Class for sure. I highly reccommend this studio for anyone who is looking for an artist who takes his time and cares about his clients. Steve is Super detailed. I visited Modern Moose Tattoo to get my ears pierced for the first time, and overall it was a great experience. The staff were super friendly, and the tech who did my piercings did an absolutely fantastic job—very professional, gentle, and precise. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars is because of the pricing. Before my appointment, I stopped in to ask about the cost and was quoted $160, but at checkout I was charged $224 for a regular piercing. This was a great experience from the time I walked in the door. I met with Lexi, who is very kind and attentive, even after changing my mind several times. Once I decided to Go forward I met with Victor told him what I wanted and he knew exactly what I was thinking! While I was Waiting I decided to get my cartilage pierced. I recently got a forearm cover up tattoo at modern moose back in September and it needed some touch up work. I called and made an appointment with Victor who did an amazing job. I showed him the pre-existing tattoo and the current cover up. He listened to my areas of concerns and we discussed alternatives with colors. He did an amazing job! My Tattoo looks better now than it did when I first got it. If you are interested in getting some new ink, please go check modern moose out. Victor did an awesome job.
