Especially appreciate Tuesdays in off season. Nice comfortable local bar scene. Good food.
Great atmosphere, food is topnotch, and the owner's are the best! !!!
We waited for 15 minutes to get a menu. Had to ask the bartender for one. Waited another half half hour for waitress to take our order. We were offered a table instead of a bar stool. When we sat at it, we were told to move by the waitress who seated her friends there. She said they came in before us but we saw them arrive later. They treat locals like trash here.
“My sons were made very uncomfortable by the server” The food at Hurricane is first rate, but they need to upgrade their choice of servers/bartenders. At first I thought it was cute when the older blonde server/ bartender offered my twin boys (25 years old home from college) 'a two for one'. “Trashey Server Ruined our Experience and Hit on my Husband” I have to say the food was great though a little pricey; but our server (norma Jean) repeatedly hit on my husband . When I said something to her she toned it down , but continued with her eyes . Later we saw the same older tramp in a tryst in a car in the parking lot. Hurricanes needs to take out the trash before we'll go back!!!! Visited September 2011

Nice Spot for Lunch – There were 4 of us for lunch on a rainy Sunday in August. (Note: Anything indoors on a rainy weekend day during summer tourist season in Kennebunkport is going to be packed, and probably not too speedy.) Avoid every night – We had the displeasure of eating at hurricane last night. After we were seated we had to get the attention of our server to take our orders. After 1 hour we were finally served our meal which happened to be cold. During this time no checked if we needed a drink. Our server tried to explain it us that my chowder just came out of the fridge and my wife's salmon was cold because they serve it on fresh salad.
