RecommendedMy only critique would be it took a long time for an appetizer and soup
We visited while on vacation over the weekend. The waitress rushed us saying we needed to get our food orders in right away or the kitchen would be angry. We walked in at 10 and the hours are posted that the kitchen serves until 10:30. Then one of my friends overheard the bartender saying that she wished we would just leave. This isn't the service I would expect from an upscale restaurant. had lunch with friends,,waited one hour and 25 min for our meal,,terrible service and waitress gave a lame excuse about a bus had come in and they had to wrap food for them, while we waited other tables were served and finished. lobster roll was very scant, spinach salad had 4 small scallops, no taste in the dressing..better places in town, why bother with poor service and medium food...
The service at this place is horrible. We were seated at our table at 5:30 and no one even took our drink order until 6:00. The while table got our appetizers except my daughter whose plate they forgot. After the waitress took our dessert order she had to come back and take it again because she forgot it (only 2 of us ordered dessert.) I'm all for a leisurely dinner but this was ridiculous.
$50 2lb loster over cooked to the point of not being edible. Lobster stew with overcooked lobster, shrimp and scallops. How does a Maine restauranr not cook lobster right? All else about our meal was great, just whiffed on the entrees.

This has been an annual mother-daughter date spot since the restaurant resides in Perkins Cove. The service yesterday was fantastic, even in the middle of the peak season, and the food always fresh and just a tad special. Incredible cocktail list and a nice wine selection make every meal here that much more potent.
