Tonight was my first time at the HAC. The service was amazing and the fried pickles were delicious. I also tried some new kinds of sushi, which our server suggested, and it was great. Highly recommend them!
Really like the down town feel. Love being able to sit by the Black River and watch the boats and ducks while I eat. They are a very friendly wait staff as well. Great to get take out at as I work a block away.
I have went here before and had great experience but I came here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago and it was horrible! It took forever to just get a waitress to give menus and water. And then she said she didnt have menus and be would have to wait for another table to be done. When we were there first! After we finally ordered we had to wait almost an hour for food! Honestly I expected better. The sound system in the deck was horrible and way too loud for a dinner rush. I had to yell to talk to my husband and my server. The servers all seem confused and have no clue what's going on. Went to smoke off the deck and came back to my table cleared. All around not happy or coming back. I'll keep going to Detroit for my sushi!
Best sushi I've had in a real long time. Great cooks, extremely likable staff and a very festive environment. Definitely recommend checking out The HAC!
