Comments on the one star rating above. I am an experienced home inspector and do no know anyone at this company. But you have to watch out for contractors blaming the home inspector, something that is very common. A 16 year old furnace is NOT OLD at all so it sounds like these people were taken by that contractor. Double wall vent pipes are NOT required for the whole run, only in specific places like where it passes through the floor and roof. Awful company! During the inspection, we had to show the inspector several items which she then noted on the report. She would not have noticed them had we not pointed them out. Since the inspection: 1) The first week we moved into our home, we immediately hired a licensed electrician to come repair a few of the items noted on the inspection report. Upon looking at the basement wiring, he said, "Did you have an inspection?" When we inquired why he asked the question, he said, "There is an open junction box over a gas line.... read more
