By far the best place to go for reliable trustworthy solid service
Hurd’s Repair was phenomenal. My husband and I blew a spark plug on the way home from Asheville, NC and spent the night in the Exxon down the street. We asked the staff for a repair shop recommendation and they mentioned Hurd’s. We arrived there at 7 AM on the dot and Paul was there to help us. He was kind, fair, honest and prompt. Good people: Fair and Honest Repair work is done right and in a timely manner. I've never been disappointed in their service, and we have 6 vehicles ranging from a 1992 Lincoln to a 2009 Focus - they have worked on them all.
They did a great job for us - reasonable rates and excellent work.
My husband and I were traveling through Virginia on our way back to Tennessee when our engine started running hot. Hurd's just happened to be off the exit that we pulled off of so we decided to see if they could help us. John was very nice and immediately checked our vehicle out. We needed a new thermostat, water pump, and a water pump belt. He got the parts sent over and we were back on the road in less than 2 hours. I would recommend this repair shop to anyone!

I was referred to Hurds by my "hay guy", Lee Saeger. I've been totally pleased by the two times my old truck has been there. Being a woman, I've been ripped off more than once in the past --even though I've done my share of wrenching on cars, trucks n motorcycles. Paul and his son John treat me with respect, they talk to me like an equal, and are completely honest.
