My only place I will have fried clams and my kids love the onion rings. Great seafood and in my neighborhood to boot.
So disapointed! My first time at Huot's was in 1976. We wwnt there dozens of time, since. Last week, I was so excited to go back with my mother and my children... What a dreadful meal we hade. My daughter's lobster was all mushy and our frid clams tasted awful. The frying was not right and the clams taste absolutely nothing. Even the clam showder was a big disapointement. I've had better clams in little shack by the sea.... but it didn't cost me 200$!!!! I've talked to the young lady who served us. She coulnd't care less....... read more
I got the fried clam/scallop combo. The food was outstanding, the portion was huge, service was great, and the bloody marys were delicious!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Loved the seafood, best scallops around sweet and tender
We try to get to Hout’s as often as possible in their open months. We are Maine natives and love our seafood and Huot’s never fails to deliver. Clam Cakes are top notch and some of the best fresh and tender scallops anywhere. Service is great inside or the order window and new seating area is great!! We recommend Huot’s to everyone.

I’ve been vacationing in Maine for my entire life (almost 30 years) and this is my absolute favorite spot that we discovered only a few years ago! Food is delicious, and staff is so genuine and personable! Only thing I wish is they would stay open later than 9 and bring in some live music. Looking forward to Huots next summer!
Tried coming last year but didn’t realize we needed dinner reservations so was looking forward to trying again this year for lunch. We ordered the clam chowder which was too watery and had no seasoning. The onion rings were nice and light. Same with the fried clams. The clam cakes were a bit dry and the scallops were a little under cooked. The waitress did a great job taking care of us from start to finish.
