I TRUST Dr. Spaw. I have worked with him, caring for Pediatric patients in a hospital, and he has done 5 surgeries on me…specifically on my joints …how many people have doctors they actually trust these days? I am old now, no longer working in a hospital…but I still go to Dr Spaw…he is watching all my joints…
My two visits were a total waste of time and money. The doctor did not carefully listen to my symptoms and rushed to finish the first meeting. In the second meeting, I even did not see him, but a PA. I took an MRI for this visit, but the MRI result was not carefully examined. I was totally disappointed. If you have a chronic pain like me, you'd better think about a better doctor.
Look this man up on the Texas Medical Board site before you go to an appointment. Patients should have this kind of information before they see a doctor. Dr. Spaw is the rudest most unprofessional Dr. I have ever dealt with. My daughter, an athlete, was seeking treatment on a high ankle sprain with ligament tears. Was good before surgery but after surgery my pains and problems and concerns were blown off. 4 months post op and I’m still using a cane to walk and in pain daily. He took me off of PT. Just saw my PCP who is having some testing done and re-referring me to PT. Have everything written down in case I have to go to another surgeon because I will be filing a law suit.
