Huntspoint does not actually smoke their meats and they are terrible things with the texture of a oven cooked roast. The staff also does not wear masks even though I am pretty sure it is mandated by the state. Here is a picture of my smoked brisket for 12 hours vs their Angus brisket. As you can see theirs has no bark or smoke ring of any kind. Had zero smoke flavor at all. VERY over priced for food you can get better somewhere else for less and with better service
Our 2 Angus brisket plates with sides of bacon potato salad, cucumber salad and mac 'n cheese were wonderful. The brisket was tender, sides were flavorful. Only disappointment was the cornbread..I felt it lacked the corn flavor, but my husband liked it. The bbq sauces that were on the side were very good.
we were given the wrong order, someone else's entirely..."Cindy's" actually. We didn't realize until it was too late. "Cindy" got the ribs and smoked turkey, both really good but we had our hearts set on the Kobe brisket sandwich with a side of chili and the pulled pork sandwich. Next time I guess
Burnt Ends, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ribs and Chicken.....we tried 'em all and they were all OUTSTANDING! Yummy sides too! All so fresh and delicious. We'll be back!!
