The food here is the best you can get & the prices are decent. They lose a lot of business though b/c there are people like me that will not wait an hour for a table on a Tuesday afternoon!! Also, my son is in a power wheelchair & it is impossible for him to get through the restaurant. They should either make it bigger or preferably open another one in another part of PC. They would make a fortune!!!
So, after waiting a few weeks and hoping the owner would step up and make things right, I'm here to tell my story. We visited Hunts on July 6th 2015. We have been going for years and have always had a good experience. This time however was the complete opposite. We were told the wait was a little over an hour which was fine. From Birmingham Alabama drove there to eat only , was asked to leave my bar seat for a local and his wife to drink and had to wait on my table and me and my wife were drinking and waiting on our table! Will go to dustys from now own and get bakes oysters even though there's are microwaved
I cannot imagine a trip to PCB without at least 1 trip to Hunts. Fresh oysters for those that enjoy, the seafood is always good and the service excellent. I understand why the locals all eat here. The wait is sometimes long but always worth it.
Wonderful oysters. The side dishes aren't very good, but the fish and shrimp are. Friendly atmosphere, nice place.
The place is small and not that fancy but the food and the prices so well worth it the food will speck for its self a must try you will be happy you did see for yourself
Hunts - a local restraunt that has been around for years. The only bad part of this place is that the locals found it ! Service is good, food is great. Waiting for you name to be called for seating is a little to long, but something you expect from a good place to eat. I would love to steer you somewhere else (just so I can get in faster) but I can only highly recommend!
Drove down from Tallahassee to PCB for the day to just kick around. Found this little place the locals hang out at to eat great oysters and other fine seafood. What a great place! The food, service, atmosphere, and clientele are super; it's a family experience. We'll be back.
