OK, I will try to be fair here. Being from the West Coast my view of what a "normal" apartment complex is seems to be quite different. Therefore, I must start with that in mind, but after 5 years at Huntington Woods I still think they can do much better. A \$1000 a month for a one bedroom apartment is pretty ridiculous but, as I said, I expect a certain level of amenities so Ive made peace with the cost. My issue is with the people running the place. I would like to see things like illegal parking and maintenance become more... read more

still live here for now.they have rules to follow but they do not uphold them. The office will tell you what you want to hear, just so you will go away. Their is also a lot of low income people and state aid people living here. They are up almost all nite making all kinds of noise so you can not sleep. You also do not get what you pay for if you pay full price.Would not tell anybody I know to move here.It is not worth the price.Could rent a house for less money and be Happier.

Seemed like a nice place to live, but dont be fooled like I was. Heating bills through the roof, stolen bike...twice, and property managers that are rude, abrasive, and unappoachable. Management didnt even try to seem interested or concerned about our belongings, safety or poorly insulated condos (pretty expensive ones)! I have never recommended Huntington Woods, nor would I ever.

There are a bunch of raggies here who go around stealing from people who work very hard for their belongings. When you explain this to management they dont do anything about it. I have just moved out because my car as well as my friends car was broken into. I also here that there were some apartments broken into and the property manager doesnt care about any of this. It is a shame that you can not feel safe there. i think management really needs to step it up!!!!

I have lived in this complex for over a year. The staff is very helpful, and have moved quickly to deal with any issues Ive encountered. Noise has not been an issue. I havent had a problem with snow removal, even after a blizzard. Its a reltively large complex, so other posters could have different experiences, I guess. Other residents (rich or poor?) seem to be responsible -- no problems there, either. I have used the common facilities, and the clubhouse, pool and laundry room have more than met my needs. The fitness room c... read more
