Yesterday we go into bank to deposit a check we are told funds with be available tomorrow and get up this morning with an email from huntington saying funds are available on the 20th not today I explained if funds are subject to a hold let me know and id go somewhere else there web site says 500 available after deposit that's a lie update today is the 20th we go to the bank today and yep they say it clears on the 20th but maybe available tomorrow here is a bank that deposited my check telling me it's be available the next da... read more
I banked at another bank for 20 years and they would not refinance my two vehicles so I could take advantage of a lower interest rate, There was no real good reason given to me, but you would think when you bank with a bank for 20 some years have almost an 800 credit score and the income and never missed a payment that your bank would approve you but no, that was my case. If you're sticking to simple checking and savings accounts, they're fine. Just don't try to do anything more complex there - been through half a dozen visits and phone calls trying to straighten out a trust account. Had an appointment for today, and the person I was to meet with did not show up in the building til 15 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start, and hadn't gotten the papers ready as she said she would.
