Called and asked for a balance. Was asked if it was okay if I could be transferred to customer service! For a balance! Not mad, almost amused. Today I’m paying off my loan and ending my relationship with Huntington. Can’t even give me a balance over the phone??? Don’t worry, I’ll just walk to the bank to get the balance. But I’m ending the relationship TODAY.
The worst branch I ever came across. I went in today to deposit a check of less than 5k for a personal injury settlement from a traffic accident I was involved in, almost one year ago. The teller, a black female, in the process of depositing the check, put a 6 days hold on it. Mind you, the proceed from this settlement was needed to pay bills and debts related to the personal injury, that are way overdue.
