Went there with my family for my daughter's 17th Birthday. Wanted to try a new place. Reviews were decent so I decided to try it. The place is clean and it has a nice ambience. The staff are nice as well. I mentioned to the waitress that it was my daughters birthday thinking like in other places they would acknowledge it and sing happy birthday- didn't happen. not a good buy for your buck I was taken to Hunters by my Girlfriend as a thank-you for helping her thorugh her first year teaching. I usually get a filet RARE. The steak came out only mildly pink in the center, which to me kills the flavor of the meat. The steak was almost cold by the time it got to my table, and the lobster tail I ordered was overcooked. I was very displeased by a meal that normally brings me exceptional pleasure. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants a real steak house experience.

Good meal, affordable price – This is a nice place to have a casual dinner with the family at. The menu is good and the food is always tasty..

Bad start...Big Surprise – Times are tough and the place was empty except for the bar. Lots of flat screen TV's around with OTB and sports which attracted a seedy crowd. Drunk loud dudes to my right and a couple to my left. Woman in her 40's drunk showing her boobs to her boyfriend. He made a comment about those F'n Jews. My date wanted out! We stayed, and went to the dinning room. It was like another world. The glass wall blocked the bar noise and the dinning area was nice. For a good steak, go elsewhere. – If you’re looking for a good steak, Hunter’s is not the place. Small portions of poor quality food, poorly prepared, and high prices are all this place offers. A new chef with an eye for quality would be a welcome change.

I was a guest at a retirement party last week. I couldent believe what we got for $ 65.00. lots of appetizers served for about 1/2 an hour, salad, t-bone steak,open bar for 3 hours, desserts and that price include the tax and tip. On top of everything the service was excellent. our waitress was right there when we needed her and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. Highly Recomended

Food Fun and Service – 8 of us went there last Friday. We had a great time The service was great and the place itself was really nice. We were meeting up for drinks and a few appetixers so we shared five or six appetizers then we decided to stay for dinner. I wont go into everything we had but everyone said their entree was delicious. We were there for about 4 hours and the check came to about $350.00 and that included a ton of drinks. I will be going back and bringing friends.

best steak in bay ridge – I had a great experience at hunters steak and ale house. The service was excellent and the food was great.I highly recommend you try the porterhouse or the filet mignon.
