RecommendedI have been buying garden supplies, plants, and even statuary from Hunter's Nursery since 1985! It is a wonderful asset for our neighborhood! Thank you to all the people who work there!
Oh where to start? We bought succulents for our wedding (Feb 29, 2020) centerpieces from Hunter’s and they were a hit! We were on a tight budget and I don’t like buying flowers that will eventually die. We needed 14 centerpieces. So many, happy, healthy, vibrant choices to choose from!! The folks at the helm were equally happy, healthy and vibrant. We went back a couple of days after the wedding to buy more for a special gift centerpiece and plan to go back. Well organized and helpful staff.
I love that it's a local, family owned business just down the street from me that treat's you like on of their own (or maybe I just go there too often? 😂). It's a big nursery with a lot to offer, without the hustle and bustle of too many people, so going there is a nice reprieve from daily life.
Mr. Hunter was a friend of our Dads G H "Niel" Nielsen Nielsen's Tree Service On Campo Road in Spring Valley Our Dad grew Avocado Trees from seedlings He picked the BEST buds for budding from the Avocados groves he managed on Mt. Helix
I'm mad about succulents, and they have beautiful dish gardens. Check them out.
They have a large selection of plants and Succulents. Good parking and workers are helpful with information about plants. One of my favorite Nurseries.
Well organized and close by! All plants are healthy and fairly priced. They will even take your name and call you when things come in. Family run, they have trees, fruit trees, berries, veggies and natives and low water plants. A very colorful place. They bring you a cart, help you load. Always a nice experience.
