I was in the ED yesterday from about 6 until 11:30pm. Everyone from the man at the desk who checked me in to the triage nurse to everyone in the ED was nothing short of GREAT! My son brought me in, we were tired, hungry… I was stressed and worried because I haven’t felt good for too long… had a bunch of tests done which were all done in a very timely fashion and they were busy!!! Was seen in the ER and was transported down for an ultrasound at 1:33pm and was stuck waiting to be transported back to my room for 3 hours. Just left sitting in the hallway in pain. Traumatic experience. However, the ER staff were are amazing. Even though it got crazy busy, the doctors and nurses were great.
My overall experience has been way beyond expectations. The various entity are efficient, share info, and are flexible with appointments. They are good at keeping a solid schedule, and helpful with all discussions. They have made typically difficult circumstances way easier to deal with. I continue to be both impressed and surprised at how well all of my time in their care, exceeds expectations
Billing section is horrible. They dont even raise proper claims with enough details; even though proper insurance details were provided at scratch. Have to do lots of call followups. Also insurance claims are handled by 2 divisions and they will make us spin calls between these.. as too many individual claims are raised for a single hospitalization. Hmmm.
I can’t say much good or bad about this place. It’s just a hospital. The nurses are OK, but there is a couple nurses that shouldn’t be nurses that Have attitudes and could care less if you’re in pain or need help but there is also some good nurses that actually genuinely care. It’s a hit or miss at this place.
