5 hours and counting just to get vitals and waiting to get a cat scan
I stayed overnight at this hospital to have an MRI. I am type I diabetic, and that has been on my records in this health system for 50 years. Inexplicably, they started denying me proper insulin dosage! After 24 hours of that, I was acidotic, blood glucose above 600, in danger of entering a coma. NOBODY would listen to me that I needed insulin, that I was type I, etc. All they would tell me was that they were following "the doctor's orders." I was completely violated that other day I went to this hospital. I was talking to the nurse and they brought in 5 male security guards to strip me down without a grown. It’s not the first time I have been mistreated here and I know it’s not the last time they will do something like this again for reference I am freshly 18 F. I was brought it because I have epilepsy. They are racist and unprofessional. Their only solution is patient advocate who does nothing, they put you on hold for hours.
