We love this vet. All the vets here have been so professional... including the women. I suppose if you are a pessimist looking for bad things, you'll find them no matter what, but I'm not. When I was a kid, we saw Hunter Sr. for our pets. I moved away and saw many vets around the western US. When we came back to Spokane, we saw some other vets. They were overpriced and under qualified. Don't Go Here – I wish there was an option for zero stars. I was referred here by a friend who told me Dr. Hunter was the best, but that he could come across as rude. Well, he did come across as rude, but I went again anyway figuring I can deal with his attitude as long as he's a good vet. The next time I saw one of his associates for my cat's rabies shot. My kitty had lost 40% of her weight, and I asked the dr. if I needed to make a follow-up appointment to find out what was causing the weight loss. She said it was nothing ... read more
NOT the best – If this is the best vet clinic in town I would hate to see the worst. It is dingy, smelly, and the people are rude. The vet talks down to you and doesn't seem like she knows anything. We are NEVER going back!!!! This is a less than 1 star place but they don't give you that option.

My family and I took our new puppy in for a free exam. We used to take our old dog there when I was a kid and know about how sometimes you have to wait and weren't worried about it. So we checked in and waited. There were only 2 other people there and after about 1/2 hour someone came out and sat down and waited. She said they were waiting for some ear medicatoins for her dog. Never going back there – I went in with my girl friend whose cat was not feeling well. The woman that saw her was rude and didn't really listen when we tried to tell her what was going on. She started spouting off thiings that it could be or not be, what we should do, but maybe we wouldn't do. She didn't act like she knew what the hell she was talking about. Great Clinic! – We have been going there for several years now and they have always given us the very best of care. When we had to put our older kitty down they talked us explained to us what would happen, offered and made a pawprint for us, and sent us a lovely card. The staff was compassionate and Dr. Brandi was even crying after all she had done for our baby. We now take our new pup there and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr. Gutting Gelding my Colt A++++++++++++++ – I was very nervious being I've had no experiance with getting a horse gelded. And my regular vet doesn't do large animals. So I had to call in a new vet I didn't know at all, to do a major procedure. (I was so scared and worried about my boy I was crying!!!!) I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to anyone!!! – If I could choose zero stars, I would... Our small dog was attacked by another and we were referred to Hunter Vet Clinic unfortunately. They cared for her, stitched her up and sent her home. Things were okay until we got concerned that the stitches were in too long. We called and even took her in. They said things were fine.
