This company installed new cables on our garage door - their recommendation. Cables snapped 5 days later: door stuck halfway down, tracks bent, unable to get door down or car out. Husband couldn't get his work vehicle out. This company - who actually did the work (faulty as it turns out) responded - can't get out for 5 days. Lucky a wonderful local company helped us out immediately. Then HVGD had the audacity to follow up for payment of their invoice - hence this review now.
Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
I am extremely dissatisfied with both the service and the business model of this company. The secretary, Jane, responded unprofessionally when I questioned the scheduling system. Rather than addressing legitimate concerns, she allowed emotion to override professionalism. That is unacceptable in a customer-facing role. The manager, Boyd, was equally dismissive. Rang about garage door not working 4 months after installation, secretary answered who gave a name starting with J, extremely rude and unhelpful ended up handing up on me. Definitely would re consider before getting any work done here.
Great service and price. Very happy with the product and friendly team. Highly recommend AAAA++++
