I JUST WANT TO BE HONEST AND WARN PEOPLE ANOUT DR. GARY HUNTER I received a knee surgery procedure from Dr. Hunter back in 2008. At a young age not knowing a lot of the medical background. I have received an MRI and without any showing of the image that was scanned, he just told my father and I that I needed surgery. “You might have torn your meniscus.” My father listened to him and I had no say in this at all because my father just wanted my knee to “be fixed” or “be better” The initial reason why we showed up in the first ... read more
BE AWARE. HE ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY HE WILL SAY YOU NEED SURGERY WHEN YOU DONT.
Very caring, listens & explains options.
I had a major shoulder surgery. Dr. Hunter never called me after. At my first visit after surgery all he said was it was very bad. I have never seen or been told what he did. My personal doctor told me after I requested they forward my records. At each five minute visit he acted like he couldn’t care less. He never even removed my coat or looked at the incision. My care at the hospital and in his office was bad. After nine months I am still in pain. No use to go back. My doctor is more caring.
Dr. Hunter performed carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands and I haven't had any issues since. He also identified that the cause of the pain I was experiencing in my right hand, years after my carpal tunnel surgery and originally thought to be tennis elbow, was actually from a bone spur on my shoulder caused from years and years of using a mouse. He removed the bone spur which took a while to heal, but it's all fine and feels great now.
My surgery was 3/716. I am still experiencing tremendous pain. Dr. Hunter's response you shouldn't be in this much pain, you should be further along in your recovery. Schedule an appointment in a month, we'll see how you are doing then. My feeling is he should be investigating why I am still in the same amount of pain after total hip replacement. Obviously there is a problem if, after replacement, I am still unable to walk without pain. What solution coming back in a month going to do?
