They can answer any knitting question! They are so friendly and have a wonderful selection, plus that great porch!!
🧶 I LOVE to sit down and knit away in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. The staff is very helpful and skilled. The store is loaded with yarn of high quality and of variety of budgets and projects. What I like the most is that they carry local yarn!! I wish I live closer! 🧶

I travel to HCY from Silver Spring, and now Gaithersburg, MD - a long trek. But HCY is my go-to yarn shop, because of Bob, Lynn, Joanne, Susan and the welcoming, helpful atmosphere that defines Bob's shop. Wonderful yarns thoughtfully selected. And I didn't even mention the fabulous yearly PJ weekend! HCY is the standard for yarn shops.
