Owner John is very disrespectful! A lot of flies and poor quality coffee. Not a good experience at all!
Carol’s Hungry Mind’s coffee and food are decent (although overpriced— but that’s expected.) The reason for my bad review is because of a horrible experience I had with John, the owner, last month. He was aggressive, domineering and extremely rude to my friends and myself. After reading through yelp reviews, it appears I'm not the first young woman to have this experience. John, the owner, was incredibly rude to my friend, took and concealed her belongings against her wishes, and refused to apologize. This business is not worth anyone's money.
John, the owner, is absolutely terrible. He talks down to his customers and has no respect for business.
Best hang out spot in Middlebury. Great food and drinks, plus a friendly staff!! Going back soon and often!
Love the place and the people! Also the food, the drinks, the rotating art show, and the fact that they'll let me stay for hours.
Try the espresso over vanilla ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
