Expensive But Good A nice local business. Bread is custy and fresh and terrific and sometimes includes quite interesting varieties. Big flag outside lets you know if they're open--important because some days they're not. The bread is quite expensive--five to six dollars a loaf, I think--so it's more something for a special occasion than a regular thing--unless you've got bucks to burn. But if you like good bread, it's worth it.
yummy what lovely people who work here, and what lovely things they sell. some of the best bread i have ever had, and i have visited many bakeries. it's the best place to go on a sunny winter day. they have a rotund brick oven that takes up half the place. artisan!
bakery when you walk in to the bakery, the smell of fresh bread in the oven just melts in your mouth. the crust is hard so if you like soft crust you might be in trouble. overall, a great find in the noho area.
