The hunan restaurant had great options for vegetarian. Too bad that it had to close at Coralville.

I've been ordering from Hunan for more than 5 years now and everything I've ever had has always been good until today. They were close for renovation on the restaurant but they also made menu changes as well and I did not like them. The egg foo young always come with meat,vegetables and sauce but it didn't this time. The egg roles comes with sweet and sour sauce but it didn't this time. The best Chinese I've ever had. I've been to a variety of little Chinese food chains that people claim as 'good' like the china buffet across the street. The people who complain about the food are the ones who are accommodated by the american standards of Chinese food. This place has authenticity in their food, that also can appease the typical European palette that typical Americans have, (bland/non spicy). I personally think the chicken chow mein is amazing.
