Sushi made to order This has always been one of the top Chinese restaurants in Springfield. When they were forced to close after the double tornado came through town they took the opportunity to remodel as they rebuilt. That's when they added the Sushi Bar. The Best Place to get Sushi Being the sushi fanatic that I am, Hunan Sushi is now my favorite place to eat in Springfield. Other buffets in the city have sushi, but it's usually a limited selection, and if the customer doesn't like what they have, then that person has just wasted their money. And oftentimes the sushi chef doesn't make another batch for some time, so a person can end up having only a small amount of mediocre sushi that they may not have wanted in the first place. Buffet This restaurant has a buffet with items that include chinese and american foods. They include desserts, although the selection is limited. They do have soft serve ice cream for the kids. The entree items are varied and range from OK to not so OK. The experience was not great, but not the worst I've tried.
Best Sushi in town! Bar none this is the best place in Springfield for sushi - they have a very nice sushi bar and an extensive menu, for sushi as well as chinese cuisine. They've recently reopened since being closed for a couple of years, and the place looks great. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
The food is very bland and the service is laughable. Go anywhere else!

The on-line menu doesn't match the in-restaurant menu. For example, Hunan has a lunch buffet and not lunch specials.
