Walking after dinner, we spotted a long line. Curious, we walked up and saw a sign that this place was rated top 5 in america for ice cream by the food network. Oddly enough, just two nights prior we took a short trek to an ice cream place in pacific heights that was also highly rated and long lines but turned out to be a disappointment. Service was indifferent as usual towards me. The line was longish, but the wait wasn't as long as I expected. There were a few employees there. I was given a tiny scoop that looked like half the amount that I saw for others. There was barely any topping, too. I looked at the photos on Yelp, and it's twice the amount I got, including for the small cone. Many coming for the promo are existing customers, or they can easily convert to loyal customers.
