I bought a house from Mr. Humphrey, where he was the part owner, broker and agent. 2 years later, I discovered that the work he had done while flipping the house was not per code, and the work itself was not disclosed on the permit. The net result is that the fixtures in the master bath were not all vented, and the one that was vented had been venting into the attic, leading to odors and gasses being trapped in the bathroom and attic.
