Mold/Mildew Issues - Express caution! We’ve been dealing with recurring mold growth around our bathroom fans in our new construction home, and our builder confirmed that Humphrey Heating & Air was the HVAC installer. Despite multiple service requests over the last two years, the issue has only worsened. Wish I could give 5 stars. Debated between 1-2. After paying $660+ for 2 hours of labor, and being told it would be ANOTHER $100+ service fee to come out and check if the massive leaking seal was supposed to be like that…. I had to leave a review. Also, unit is around 3 years old and they have been out more times than I can count. Asked if it could be a lemon and was shrugged off. Put some quick tape around leak and house is crisp and cool. Would never consider them for my Heating & Air needs. I was in the process of selling my house and knew it needed new dampers. I inquired on a recommendation and it was about 8 days out on an appointment because they recommended a technician evaluate the system. Do not use this company! Humphery bought the company who installed our 4 new HVAC ($20,000) units. We had an issue with the heat on one of the units when the weather changed and when they came out they found the unit had been mistakenly wired incorrectly. Humphries charged us any way and refused to even discuss the issue on several occasions. Nevertheless we used them again, they charged us an outrageous amout for the next service call and refused to file for warranty coverage with the manufacturer even though we know it wou... read more
