About this business
The first Humperdink's opened on Greenville Avenue at Southwestern in 1976 as the Original Dallas Sports Restaurant & Sports Bar. We soon opened in Addison followed by Las Colinas (now relocated at West NW Hwy in Dallas) then Richardson in 1991 and Arlington at Six Flags. We began Brewing our own Beer in 1995 when the Arlington Restaurant opened and now offer our award winning beers at all locations. This used to be my favorite neighborhood bar, however they now allow children in the bar area in the evenings which is definitely NOT supporting an Adult atmosphere. If you are looking for a nice place for food and drink and trivia I would look elsewhere.
I have lived in Dallas for 20 years and been to many a humperdinks. The one off of I-35 and Loop 12 is the best location. Arlington texas is another good one but the company is clearly trying to milk this location for every penny they can. They have a great location off of I-75 near corporations. They make stiff drinks to get the "power drinker" crowd into the place, one of whom threatened a friend of mine in a recent visit.
