My band The Vegabonds played there last night with Quincy Mumford and the Reason Why, and we had a great time!! Nice and helpful staff, friendly people and top sound and lights. Can't wait to be back!
Great venue! Professional sound and lighting. The sound engineer is top notch! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. If you are in Macon I highly recommend checking out The Humming Bird.
On December 4th I went to the hummingbird walked to the bar and a small man in a green shirt ball cap black hair and beard came to take my order as i tapped my $ 20 on the bar my order which was a budlight and a shot of well bourbon he placed it on the bar and handed me my change...$2 dollars...seriously?? I worked many years in bars and restaurants but even when I should have I never once jacked anyone's tip... But that's not all... I asked the bartender for the rest of my change and his words were "not my fucking problem" ... read more
What a great find on our short visit. Loved having a beer with Amanda. Awesome happy hour, great bartender, she even suggested and made our dinner reservations! Definitely be back.
