I write on behalf of another person who was shown a property in Chester Hill last week (NSW). I wish Hume would make sure first, that all repairs are done, ie check roof, etc - would they live there ? The other thing is that I don't think they explained to the potential tenant that a bond was expected ie poor communication. The quality of housing needs to be considered, ie people need more space, privacy, etc

I spoke with them on the phone 3 months ago about the junk, wood, rubbish,old furniture and even a whole disgusting mattress just thrown next to the fence of their community housing building and between the property where I live, all this items collecting mold, attracting rodents, and is clearly a fire hazard. And of course, nothing happened. A company run by lazy, unprofessional clowns🤡🤡.

My sister had some accomodation with Hume housing, she has left over 3 months ago, the rent continued to be charged even though she had left, that was eventually stopped, now after 3 months we are still owed rent which was over charged and bond which hasn’t been returned, use this company at your discretion.
