I am a retired vertebrate zoologist and owner/operator of an animal rescue for 21 years. I worked for many years with Operation Catnip in Gainesville, FL and have been associated with several other low-cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the country. I have to take a couple minutes to brag on our Humane Society/Spay and Neuter clinic in Cookeville. Took Sophia in on Tues. to be spayed. Picked her up on Weds. and she finally tried to poop on Thurs. Poor little thing cried out in pain and then just collapsed on the ground. Broke my heart to see her in such pain. I called the clinic on Fri. afternoon and they gave me good ideas to help her go and then Linda checked on her again on Saturday. I thought that was pretty darned nice of her. Everyone is so nice and really love what they do. I was so worried about leaving my cat Max over night but they took such great care of him. So grateful that Cookeville has such a great facility with such great people.
Fixed my Luna and were super kind. I highly recommend people use them!
I had my kitten Peyton neutered there. Great facility and wonderful staff dedicated to helping our furry 4 legged babies.
