I’ve adopted several animals from HSTC and everyone there has been wonderful! We even had to surrender a pet (that was not ours) that we could not add to our menageries and the staff was professional and non-judgmental. I will always support HSTC and continue to adopt my pets from them and other no-kill shelters.
The staff is so friendly and caring to these precious animals! They tell you every detail about the animal you are looking at to make sure they are the perfect fit for your family! Highly recommend them 😊

It is a real sanctuary for dogs and cats...a very compassionate institution that really care for abandoned animals without questions. They will take any dog as long as it is friendly and you can see that even if the dog never finds a new home, that will be his or her forever place where loving people will care for them and with an amazing space ...so peaceful and with so much nature!! and especially with so much love!!!
when we had to put down our Buddy, they so kind to us. will never forget it.
