A friend of mine adopted her first kitten from Stark County Humane Society on Friday evening, and by Saturday morning the poor thing had passed away. I am appalled that any facility dedicated to animal welfare would send an animal home before doing every test necessary to make sure that the animal is in 100% good health. And as it turns out, hers is not by far the only case. This needs to be addressed immediately.
