I have adopted two animals from them, one had to be put down due to being old and sickly, but we tried to give him a loving home for his final days. Our dog is great, happy and healthy. Coming up on our one year adoption anniversary with him. I am also a volunteer at this shelter and can say that I have been met with nothing but kindness and understanding.

We've adopted and volunteered at the schs for one year last month. This organization takes in the county's sick and unwanted animals. The staff and volunteers are always caring with the animals best interest at heart. They deal with a lot of criticism and I think if people knew they were more than a pet store, they'd be more kind and understanding. I believe in my year's experience, they do what they can medically, emotionally, socially and financially what they can for these broken, hurt, homeless and unloved animals.

Stark County Humane Society refuses to rescue a dog left outside 24/7 in Canton, OH. As does the Stark County Sheriff's Dept. They are disgraceful.

I got max today i guess he had a brother he was raised with for nine years. He misses him badly. I just missed his brother 20 min before i showed up or i would have taken him to. But max is trying to stay alive his heart hurts an i can see it in his eyes. I adopted him to give him something to live for. I love him. If u have or know anyone who knows who has max's brother plz message me. Id like for them to still be able to see each other. I will bring him over to your home or visaversa. Thank u
