McPherson County Humane Society is the nicest pet sanctuary I have ever visited. It is clean, nice, and well organized. There are a TON of cats there, but there was absolutely no odor. Amazing! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I told them about us and our lifestyle and the cat personality I thought would be a good fit for us, and they made suggestions of cats that fit the bill, as well as showed us cats we were interested in from looking on their web page. They told us it would take 3-5 days to review the adoption application, and would call us, this was before Christmas, they never returned our calls and never told us yes or no.
The McPherson Humane Society takes great care of their cats and are always doing their best to make sure they go to a great home.
